September 7th, 2006 - We Just got Voted into the top 18 bands in KBPI's BEST BAND IN DENVER Contest, and we can't thank you fans enough for the support over the years. December 9, 2004 - Last night was a tragedy for metal and metal fans our longstanding guitar hero Dimebag Darrell was murdered on stage with his new band Damageplan. He is a huge inspiration to the Ransom Crew as well as countless metal bands around the world... He will be missed. So go crank up all your Pantera/Damageplan CD's and pay your respects

November 13, 2004 - Big shots out to our faithful fans for coming out to the Return of Ransom Show, thanks for showing Keith how Ransom fans do it out there. September 06, 2004 - Thanks to all the Drummers who tried out, we appreciate your time, effort... I am pretty damn stoked to announce, Keith Morrison as our new drummer. He really impressed all of us and we hope he impresses all of the Ransom fans. Today is our first full practice with him and i'm hoping to get back to it in a month or two keep check in the website and sign up for emails to get the latest on Ransom news.

May 26th, 2004 - Just got back from Texas, Big shot out to Wayne and the rest of the Proven Ground crew for the awesome show! To all the new Texas fans thanks for the love and welcome to the Ransom crew.
We are inching up on Ransom's last stand... Mishawaka will be an awesome show and Ransom will go out with a bang, DO NOT MISS IT! Tix are $8 for Friday night and $10 for Saturday night (we'll be on saturday but partying all day friday too) I put up good directions to the festival on the Shows page, DO NOT FOLLOW MAPQUEST DIRECTIONS FOR THE ADDRESS ON THE SHOWS PAGE YOU WILL GET LOST!.
We finally got our songs on Garageband.com check em out and give them good reviews. We are still looking for the next drummer for what will become of Ransom if you would like to try out please contact any one of us and we'll set up some audition time.
May 13th, 2004 - Drummer Tommy Mcmillian confirms he is leaving Ransom. We will be playing the last three shows we have posted on the shows page, then we will be looking for a new dedicated, kick ass drummer ready to take on the drumming responsibilites for one of the finest tuned ass kickin outfits in Denver...Think you can hang...we will be trying out drummers after our show at Mishawaka.
